1. Actively search for information about a University you would like to apply to, and also look for its courses and activities’ schedule which are available for Erasmus+ students. The best source to do this are websites of the Partner Universities.
2. During the recruitment, prepare an application form for studies and then submit it to Erasmus+ Coordinator IN YOUR DEPARTMENT. Then the coordinator will submit your application to the Erasmus+ Office.
3. The Erasmus+ office will send an official nomination for your stay to a Partner University you have chosen.
4. Wait for an e-mail from the Partner University concerning further steps of your application.
5. Follow all the required application procedures.
As soon as possible, send the documents to the Partner University. They are as follows:
• APPLICATION FORM*
• ONLINE LEARNING AGREEMENT*;
• APPLICATION FOR ACCOMODATION (if applicable)**
• OTHER DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY THE PARTNER UNIVERSITY*
*(the application procedures may vary depending on the university you apply to. Thus, you should carefully read all the instructions and complete the requirements given by the Partner University)
**Students arrange their accommodation during Erasmus mobility themselves (in dormitories – with the help of the Partner University’s Student Service Office, or on their own – letting agencies, other sources). Most of universities have strict deadlines regarding sending those documents – please, check them in advance on Partner University’s websites.
6. Prepare (with your Program Coordinator) an Online Learning Agreement before the mobility. Gain all the required acceptations – yours, your Program Coordinator’s, the Partner University’s.
7. Start a visa application process (if needed). The Erasmus+ Office will prepare and give you an official document confirming your Erasmus+ recruitment that will allow you to obtain a visa. Later, you will also get a grant for your stay.
8. Deliver a copy of your health insurance valid in the country of your stay to the Erasmus+ Office.
Also, bring: – the STATEMENT ABOUT THE FORM OF GRANT PAYMENT (IMPORTANT: fill in the declaration with your bank account number KEEPING THE GAPS BETWEEN THE NUMBERS, the declarations without the gaps will not be accepted) – CO-FINANCING STATEMENT – STATEMENT ABOUT THE PREVIOUS MOBILITIES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME and STATEMENT ABOUT COMPLETED PERIODOF STUDIES
9. In case of a situation you write a thesis (Bachelor’s, Master’s or Engineering) during your Erasmus+ mobility, you have to obtain an acceptance from your thesis supervisor (e-mail or paper form).
10. If you are a beneficiary of a social scholarship, you are allowed to apply for an extra grant of 250 Euros. To do so, you will need a copy of your social scholarship decision (VALID).
11. You sign a contract with the Universty of Opole – approximately 2-3 weeks before the mobility. Go to the Erasmus+ Office with all the required Signing the contract is compulsory to take part in the Erasmus+ mobility and get a grant. We advise you to arrange the exact date IN ADVANCE, BY TELEPHONE. Thanks to that, signing the contract will be conducted easily, effectively and without extra waiting.
12. After signing the contract in our office the first part of your grant will be registered to be paid to you. You will be also given a a licence for language support (the access to an OLS platform) where you will be able o learn the language of your mobility.
