A farewell to UO Erasmus students
All good things must come to an end.
After an entire semester in Opole the international mobilities have entered their ending phase by the end of June. To keep up the spirits and celebrate the shared memories we organized a Goodbye Grill party at the Bolko beach on 19.06. A total of 27 participants managed to make it despite the blistering heat but thankfully on site a grassy patch in the shade provided everyone a nice relaxing space while awaiting the grilled goods. Some made use of the nearby lake, some only sunbathed but everyone had a good time. We also exchanged UO shirts gifted at the beginning of the semester for everyone to sign with short wishes, memories or promises. The party fizzled out by 7pm, not with frowns and exhaustion but with a sense of closure and contentment.
